Galvanized flange has good corrosion resistance, according to the way of galvanizing is divided into hot galvanized flange and cold galvanized flange.
Hot-dip galvanized flange is immersed in molten zinc melted at about 500 ℃ after flange forming degreasing, pickling and derusting, so that zinc layer is attached to the surface of steel parts, thus achieving the purpose of anti-corrosion. Cold galvanizing is also called electro-galvanizing. It uses electrolytic equipment to put the pipe fittings into a solution composed of zinc salt after degreasing and pickling, and connects the negative electrode of the electrolytic equipment. A zinc plate is placed on the opposite side of the pipe fittings, and the positive electrode connected to the electrolytic equipment is connected to the power supply. A layer of zinc will be deposited on the pipe fittings by the directional movement of current from the positive electrode to the negative electrode.
Galvanized flange commonly used material: ASTM A105 Q235B 20# 16Mn Q345B, etc.
