The full name of socket flange is socket welded steel pipe flange, which refers to the pipe end inserted into the flange ring ladder, welded at the pipe end and outside the flange. It comes with or without a neck. The flange with the neck tube has good rigidity, small welding deformation and good sealing. It can be used for the occasions of 1.0~10.0MPa pressure. Container B flange also belongs to socket welding flange, used for sealing requirements of higher occasions. Design, socket welding flange can be checked according to the whole flange. Socket flanges are only suitable for piping with nominal diameter of 50 or less.
