The seamless steel pipe has a hollow section. It is mainly used as fluid delivery pipe, such as petroleum, natural gas, coal gas, water and some solid materials. Common materials include 20, 16Mn, 12Cr1MoV, 10CrMo910, 15CrMo, TP304L, TP316L, etc.
Executive standards and corresponding materials
1. GB/T8162-1999 (Theoretical Weight of Galvanized Seamless Steel Pipe for Structures). It is mainly used for general structures and mechanical structures. Representative materials (grade): carbon steel 20, Q345, etc.
2. GB/T8163-1999 (Seamless Steel Pipe Used for Delivering Fluids). It is mainly used for fluid delivery pipes for engineering and large equipment. Representative ceramic compound steel pipes (grade): 20, Q345, etc.
3. GB3087-1999 (Low-tin and Tin-free Seamless Steel Pipe and Seamless Steel Pipe for Medium-pressure Boiler). It is mainly used for low and medium-pressure fluid delivery pipes for industrial boilers and domestic boilers. Representative material is 20 steel.
4. GB5310-1995 (Seamless Steel Pipe for High-pressure Boilers). It is mainly used for high temperature and high pressure resistant fluid delivery containers and pipes for boilers at power stations and Tianjin seamless steel pipe power plants. Representative materials include 20G, 12Cr1MoVG, 15CrMoG steel, etc.
5. GB9948-1988 (Seamless Steel Pipe for Petroleum Cracking Process). It is mainly used for the boilers in oil refineries, steel pipes of heat exchanger scaffolds and fluid delivery pipes. Representative materials include 20, 12CrMo, 1Cr5Mo, 1Cr19Ni11Nb, etc.
